Features: Bespoke ‘MyShop’ pages
The Challenge
As the company’s Magento 1 ecommerce site reached the end of its supported life the search was on for a new B2B ecommerce solution. Grahame Gardner chose to work with Cloudfy thanks to our comprehensive suite of B2B features and specialist development skills.
Each separately branded ‘MyShop’ page needed a unique login for employees and students to place orders and specify delivery details. For seamless order processing, warehouse management and pricing integration with the existing Prima Solutions ERP system was needed.
The company’s 100,000 customers are mainly in universities and hospitals. Many make their purchases through some 200 MyShops. Simple customer registration and accurate ordering were essential requirements. Personalized products added an extra dimension with names and logos included, according to customer needs. Credit account customers also needed an additional authentication process.
Our Approach
We implemented data cleansing and migration from the company’s existing site and supported product information uploads. This included working with the in-house team to make sure stockkeeping units (SKUs) were accurate and matched.
With a very large product catalog data copying, checking and transfer were key priorities. The product information management tools within Cloudfy helped to streamline the process.
The site’s new simplified search feature adds built-in artificial intelligence (AI) and ‘current associated product’ terms to enhance product discovery. Visual changes and personalized pricing, preset prices, and product categories also enhance customer experiences.
Payment gateways for Opayo (Sage Pay) and PayPal meet the needs of Grahame Gardner‘s retail customers. Credit accounts for trade customers are managed within their own authentication workflow. Registered customers can check their order histories at any time.
Prima integration
Silos of information within your business can make everything much harder to manage. Valuable information is difficult to find and there are often discrepancies and conflicts which slow you down. Having a complete view of your operations makes it easier to meet demand, match expectations and fulfill customer needs.
