Catalog and PIM cabilities

Capability hub

Catalog and PIM capabilities

One catalog for every market and every account. One source of truth for your IT team.

Cloudfy's catalog and PIM capabilities give manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers one product catalog published across multiple storefronts, languages and customer accounts through the B2B portal, with product data, pricing and stock driven by the ERP.

What your customers get

  • A catalog built for their account: the products, part numbers and prices they are allowed to buy, and nothing they are not.
  • Product pages in their language, with their units, currency, images and documents attached.
  • Live availability by warehouse before anything goes in the basket.

What your IT team gets

  • Product data held once. The item master stays in SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite or Sage, and Cloudfy reads it on every ERP sync.
  • Variants, assemblies and product families modeled in the PIM without custom development.
  • Bulk import, export and API access for enrichment, instead of a second product database to maintain.

Cloudfy runs both sides from the same source of truth, your ERP.

Built for your IT, operations and finance teams, not just your buyers

For IT

Your ERP stays the product master. Cloudfy reads item codes, descriptions, units of measure and stock from SAP Business One, Dynamics 365, NetSuite or Sage, holds the enrichment your ERP was never built for, and publishes it. No duplicate product database, no custom middleware to look after.

Your product data, digital assets and customer-specific catalogs sit on infrastructure independently audited to these standards.

For Operations

Catalog changes stop arriving as tickets. New lines, discontinued items and warehouse availability come through on the next ERP sync, and your team updates images, documents and marketing content in one record rather than three systems.

For Finance

Every storefront prices from the same ERP price lists and customer contracts, so a localized catalog in a new market carries exactly the margin rules you run at home.

Frequently asked questions about catalog and PIM

Can we show different customers different catalogs?

Yes. Each customer account is assigned an assortment, so buyers see the products, part numbers and prices agreed for them, with everything else hidden. Assignment can follow ERP customer groups.

Does Cloudfy replace our ERP as the product master?

No. The item master stays in SAP Business One, Dynamics 365, NetSuite or Sage. Cloudfy reads it on each ERP sync and holds the marketing, media and localization content on top.

How do we localize product content for different markets?

Product descriptions, attributes, units and currencies are set per storefront and per language in Cloudfy's PIM. Compliance fields and regulatory documents can be attached only for the markets that require them.

Can Cloudfy handle variants, assemblies and product families?

Yes. Variants such as size, color and pack are grouped under one parent product, and assemblies or kits are modeled as configurable products, with pricing for each option read from the ERP.

How do we get product data in and out of Cloudfy?

Through the ERP sync, bulk CSV import and export, and the Cloudfy API. The ERP owns core item data; the PIM owns enrichment; the API and imports cover everything else, including migration.

Where do datasheets, safety sheets and certificates live?

Attached to the product record in Cloudfy's PIM, with visibility set by storefront and customer account. Buyers download the current version from the product page rather than requesting it by email.

Does the catalog show warehouse availability?

Yes. Stock, lead time and the fulfilling warehouse are read from the ERP and shown on the product page and in the basket, so buyers see what can ship before they order.

Can customers request a quote from the catalog?

Yes. Products, configurations and account pricing feed directly into a quote request, and an accepted quote converts to an order that syncs to the ERP.
